Hi Shri Another great post. I especially appreciate #8 It is humane… As a person reading blogs, it is easy to get caught up in “info hunting” mode and not stop to appreciate the simple generosity of the person posting the information, (and there is a generosity to it even when it is part of an overall marketing strategy)

As a person looking to use blog commenting as part of my own marketing strategy it is easy to get caught up in my own stratigizing and forget about the basic value of relating human to human without having an angle. Paradoxically I think those moments of no agenda “reaching out to touch someone” can have a profound long term positive impact that can’t be quantified by back links, exposure or even a new relationship that might emerge from reaching out.

That was a awesome article and some real nice comments. I too agree that commenting is very essential and adds to the enthusiasm of the blog creator to add more interesting stuff.
